In a bizarre incident, a Chinese university student bit a mouse that had bitten her finger in her dormitory.

The rodent had bitten her while she was trying to catch it in eastern China’s Jiangsu province on December 21.

After successfully capturing it, she decided to bite the mouse on its head in retaliation.

This risky move resulted in injuries to her lips from biting the rodent.

Medical records shared by her roommate revealed that the student suffered injuries but received prompt treatment and was okay.

The mouse, unfortunately, died after the encounter, not due to the bite, but from suffocation caused by the woman's firm grip when she caught it.

Despite the incident being seen as a joke, the roommate cautioned others not to imitate such actions to avoid potential diseases.

In a similar incident in November, a mother in central China was alarmed when her 22-month-old daughter grabbed a mouse and tried to offer it as a gift.

The mother quickly intervened to release the animal and washed her daughter's hands thoroughly.
