Elizaveta Krivonogikh, a 22-year-old art school graduate believed to be the daughter of Russian President Vladimir Putin, posted a series of cryptic messages on social media, expressing emotional distress and opposition to Russia’s war in Ukraine.
Known online as Luiza Rozova, Krivonogikh did not directly name Putin in her posts.
However, the statements have drawn attention due to long-standing reports linking her to the Russian leader. In one message shared via her private Telegram channel “Art of Luiza,” she referred to “the man who took millions of lives and destroyed mine,” which some interpreted as a reference to her alleged father.
In another post, she wrote: “It’s liberating to be able to show my face to the world again. It reminds me of who I am and who destroyed my life,” according to German outlet Bild, which reportedly accessed the Telegram channel.
After a period of hiding her face in public posts, Luiza has recently resumed sharing full-face photos, including one taken at a branch of the Russian café chain Surf Coffee. The location and date of the photos were not disclosed.
Born on March 3, 2003, in St. Petersburg, Luiza is widely believed to be the daughter of Svetlana Krivonogikh, a former cleaner who reportedly became wealthy after Luiza’s birth.
The investigative outlet Proekt first reported in 2020 that Putin was likely her father, a claim the Kremlin has never confirmed.
Luiza once maintained an active social media presence in Russia, where she was seen traveling on private jets, attending exclusive parties, and wearing luxury fashion. Her account was deleted shortly before Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022.
Now based in Paris, she graduated from the ICART School of Cultural and Art Management in June 2024. In another Telegram message, she reflected on leaving Russia: “I can’t make an extra lap around my beloved St. Petersburg. I can’t visit my favourite places and establishments.”
