Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir has strongly criticized the Iran–U.S. agreement and rejected any obligation to abide by its terms.

Condemning the deal, Ben-Gvir stated that “President Trump’s agreement does not bind us. Israel is not a party to this agreement.”

He further argued that the accord does not guarantee Israel’s security, adding that Israel cannot be satisfied with anything less than the complete dismantling of Hezbollah.

The Israeli minister also declared that Israel would not relinquish “even a single inch” of territory currently under the control of the Israeli military.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Monday announced that Pakistan would host the signing ceremony of a peace agreement between the United States and Iran in Geneva on June 19, describing the development as a significant step towards regional and global stability.

Addressing the National Assembly, the prime minister said the agreement marked the end of military operations between the two countries and represented a victory for diplomacy and dialogue.

The announcement came hours after Shehbaz and US President Donald Trump stated that an agreement had been reached between Washington and Tehran following months of conflict that affected regional security and global energy markets.
