Australian cricket captain Pat Cummins’ social media post concerning the medical care of former Pakistan captain Imran Khan has attracted more than five million views within its first 24 hours, according to a post highlighting the figure.
The post, which focused on concerns surrounding Imran Khan’s medical care, drew significant attention online, with the reported view count reaching five million in a day.
Australia captain Pat Cummins on Friday voiced support for incarcerated PTI founder Imran Khan, urging authorities to ensure he receives proper medical care, family visits and dignified treatment while in prison.
Cummins expressed his support after former international cricketers, including Greg Chappell, raised concerns about the former premier's health and conditions of confinement.
In a post on X, Cummins said he hoped the court-ordered medical assessment would be allowed to proceed and that Khan would continue to have access to his family. "Adding my support here to GC and the other former international captains," he wrote.
"I hope the court ordered medical assessment be allowed to run its course, and that family visits continue. I hope Imran Khan is treated with the dignity anyone deserves."
