Karachi: Residents caught a thief red-handed, subjected him to severe beating, tied him to an electric pole, and forced him to confess to multiple thefts in Liaquatabad No. 2, District Central, .

According to local residents, the suspect had been stealing from a mosque, including its water pump, and confessed to stealing other items from the nearby area.

The suspect admitted that he sold the stolen goods to a man named Shahid, who runs a scrap business in Khamosh Colony.

The residents further said that the mosque’s CCTV cameras had also captured the suspect’s presence and activities.

After the incident, the enraged mob handed over the suspect to Super Market Police Station following the assault.

Police officials confirmed that the suspect is under interrogation, and legal action is being initiated based on complaints from area residents.
