Newborn baby girl thrown in pond by unknown men found alive in Daharki

In a shocking incident, a newborn baby girl, who was thrown by unknown men in the pond, was found alive in Sindh's Daharki.

According to a video being widely shared on the social media platform Facebook, a newborn baby girl was found alive by the residents in Daharki. 

She was thrown by unknown men in the pond. The residents of the area found the baby girl in the pond on her cries. According to reports, the baby girl was adopted by the residents of the area. 

Separately, police in Karachi arrested a woman for killing her newborn daughter by throwing her from their sixth-floor apartment in the Liaquatabad area.

The police said that the body of the newborn girl was found outside the apartment complex. During investigation, the woman was taken into custody for questioning after her neighbours informed the police that she was mother of the newborn.

They identified the woman as Sana and said she appeared to be mentally unstable and an addict.
