A band of robbers took away five sacrificial animals present at a local cattle ranch at gunpoint in the Port Qasim area of Karachi, police said on Saturday.

The owner of the cattle farm lodged an FIR at the Sakhan police station.

According to police, the incident happened at Plot No 157 in the Port Qasim Industrial area of the metropolis.

The victim said that four bandits barged into his cattle farm and looted five expensive sacrificial animals worth over Rs3.5 million,

The suspects locked the security guard and staff in the room, he added.

The Rancher, in his application, informed that robbers also took away mobile phones and other valuable items from the staff.

The armed dacoits loaded sacrificial into the truck and fled from the scene, the owner said.
