Drinking water camps set up for flood victims

FEROZWALA:  Local administration has set up clean drinking water camps for the benefit of flood affected people to be supplied in the flood affected areas of Muridke and Ferozewala.

Bottled drinking water was being distributed from these camps.

The field officers of Punjab Saaf Pani Authority had reached Khan Colony of Ferozewala in order to make sure that the provision of clean drinking water is made.

As per the official statement, the flood affected people in Muridke, Sheikhupura, Hakimpura, Ferozewala, Pathan Colony and other affected areas were being shifted to safer places and relief camps.

Boats were being used by rescue teams to evacuate the residents along with their basic needs.

Chief Minister of Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif has instructed authorities to make sure that medicine, food and other necessities keep reaching the flood affected people.
