Armed dacoits rob woman in Karachi's Mehmoodabad

In yet another incident of street crime in Karachi, a woman was looted by armed robbers in the Mehmoodabad area of the metropolis, it emerged on Thursday.

According to the details, the incident took place on April 16 when the woman was buying vegetables from a street vendor in Mehmoodabad No 2 area of the port city.

In a CCTV footage, two armed dacoits on a motorbike could be seen looting cash and other valuables from the woman at gunpoint.

The muggers easily fled from the scene after committing the crime, as seen in the video.

The rampant street crimes have instilled fear and a sense of insecurity among the citizens as ruthless robbers have been freely roaming the city, looting people and killing them over the slightest hint of resistance with impunity.

At least 59 people have been killed in the metropolis for resisting robbery in just four months of the ongoing year.
