Pakistani YouTube creators gain global recognition as int'l viewership surges

Pakistani YouTube creators are expanding their reach far beyond the country's borders, earning growing recognition on the global stage.

According to YouTube’s latest report, Pakistan has emerged as one of the world’s fastest-growing creative communities, with locally produced content attracting significant international audiences.

The report highlights that Pakistani artists, digital creators, and content professionals continue to produce original, high-quality videos that resonate with both domestic viewers and audiences abroad. As a result, Pakistani YouTube channels have experienced substantial growth in global reach and engagement.

Viewership of Pakistani content has reached record levels among audiences both within Pakistan and internationally.

Videos from Pakistani creators are gaining popularity across South Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and North America, further strengthening the international presence of the country’s digital creator community.

According to YouTube’s data, Pakistan is now home to more than 140,000 YouTube channels with over 10,000 subscribers.

More than 19,000 channels have surpassed 100,000 subscribers, while over 1,200 channels have exceeded 1 million subscribers, reflecting the rapid growth and increasing popularity of digital content creation in the country.

The report also revealed that Pakistani users uploaded videos totaling more than 20 million hours over the past year. These figures underscore the continued expansion of both content production and audience engagement across Pakistan’s digital ecosystem.

One of the report’s most notable findings is that approximately 60% of the total watch time for Pakistani YouTube videos comes from viewers outside Pakistan.

According to YouTube, Pakistani creators are building international audiences by producing authentic, engaging, and high-quality content.

If this momentum continues, Pakistan is well positioned to strengthen its presence across global digital platforms and further establish itself as a leading contributor to the worldwide creator economy.
