Woman gives birth to quadruplets in Bajaur

A woman gave birth to quadruplets at a district hospital in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's Bajaur Agency on Sunday.

According to the hospital administration, the babies, three boys and one girl, and the mother are in a healthy condition.

The officials stated that the newborns were shifted to the Neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) under special care.

It is important to note that a natural conception of sextuplets is extremely rare and the delivery in such cases is usually very complicated.

Earlier this month, a woman had given birth to sextuplets, four boys and two girls, at a District Headquarters hospital in Rawalpindi.
