Wasim Akram offers Rs250,000 reward for finding missing pet dog

Former Pakistan captain and legendary fast bowler Wasim Akram has appealed to the public for help in finding his missing pet dog, Duke, after it disappeared from Karachi's DHA Phase 8.

Akram shared an appeal on his official Instagram account, asking people to check their neighbourhoods and contact the family if they spot the dog.

According to the post, Duke is a black long-coated German Shepherd with no markings and was last seen in DHA Phase 8.

The family has urged local residents and security guards to look for Duke in nearby streets, parks, gardens, rooftops and garages, saying he may have wandered into the surrounding areas.

A Rs250,000 reward has been announced for information leading to Duke's safe return. Akram appealed to anyone with information about the dog's whereabouts to come forward so the family can bring him home safely.

In an Instagram post, Shaniera wrote, "Please help us find our baby boy. Last seen in phase 8 on Sunday. He's only 5 months old and must be so scared. Someone may have picked him up for safety or knows someone who has him.

 We are offering reward for anyone who can help bring him home, so pls call the number on the poster if you have seen or know anything about our boy Duke. Please help us spread the word. We are just devastated."
