Pakistan has extended the closure of its airspace to Indian aircraft for another month, with the restriction now remaining in force until August 24, 2026.
Following the government's approval, the Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) issued a fresh Notice to Airmen (NOTAM), stating that aircraft registered in India or operated, owned or leased by Indian entities will not be permitted to use Pakistani airspace during the extended period.
According to the NOTAM, the restriction will remain effective until August 24, 2026, and all Indian-linked aircraft will continue to be barred from transiting Pakistan's airspace.
Pakistan first closed its airspace to Indian aircraft on April 23, 2025, and the restriction has since been extended periodically. The latest NOTAM extends the ban by another month.
