PA adopts resolution lauding CM Maryam on completing two years in office

The Punjab Assembly has passed a resolution commending Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz on completing two years in office.
The resolution, presented by treasury member Ahsan Raza, was approved by a majority vote in the house. It congratulated the chief minister and her team, acknowledging their efforts and vision in steering the province’s development agenda.
According to the resolution, Punjab has made notable progress under Maryam Nawaz’s leadership, advancing toward new milestones of growth and prosperity. It stated that she has, in a short period, emerged as a representative of public aspirations.
The assembly particularly lauded flagship initiatives launched by the provincial government, including the ongoing construction of the Nawaz Sharif Institute of Cancer Treatment and Research, Apni Chhat, Apna Ghar housing scheme, the “Suthra Punjab” campaign, and the “Green Tractor Scheme” for farmers.
Lawmakers emphasszed that equal opportunities for development are being ensured for all citizens without discrimination, adding that the government’s projects are being implemented with transparency.
Members of the assembly also noted that the chief minister has demonstrated strong administrative capabilities and remains committed to transforming Punjab into a modern and prosperous province.
