The number of registered voters in Pakistan reached over 130 million, according to the list released by the Election Commission of Pakistan on Monday. 

The authority took X (formally Twitter) to share the statisticts of 130,136,311 registered voters, of which 70,043,472 are male and 60,092,839 are females.

According to the list, Islamabad’s overall voter count is 1,094,216, including 568,406 male and 514,623 female voters.

In Punjab, as many as 74,093,290 individuals are eligible to cast their vote, of which 39,562,840 are male and 34,530,450 are female voters.

The data showed that the number of voters in Sindh is 27,325,971, with 14,781,503 males and 12,544,468 females.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the third-largest province of the country, is home to 22,183,168 registered voters, whereas, in Balochistan, the total number of registered voters is 5,439,666.

According to ECP, the number of registered voters in February 2018 was 128 million.

It added, “This disclosure aligns with the Election Commission’s continuous efforts to keep an updated and easily accessible record of the nation’s voting population.”
