NA-175: TikToker Dania Shah's husband announces to contest by-polls

The process of submitting nomination papers for the upcoming by-election in NA-175 has begun, with several candidates formally entering the race.

Among the notable candidates is Hakim Shehzad, the husband of Dania Shah — the former wife of late television personality Aamir Liaquat Hussain. Hakim Shehzad submitted his nomination papers at the Returning Officer’s office accompanied by both of his wives, including Dania Shah.

Former MPA Hammad Nawaz Tipu, affiliated with the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), also submitted his nomination papers for the same constituency.

The NA-175 seat became vacant following the disqualification of Jamshed Dasti. The by-election is scheduled to be held on September 10.

The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) is overseeing the nomination and election process in accordance with its announced schedule.
