A 25-year-old security guard, who embraced martyrdom while protecting foreigners on Friday in Karachi's Landhi suicide attack, had welcomed his first baby boy just two days ago.

A day earlier, two suicide bombers struck the foreign nationals' car in the Landhi area of Karachi. However, all five foreigners remained unharmed in the attack and were shifted to an undisclosed location.

Noor Muhammad and another security guard were injured in the attack and were shifted to the hospital in a critical condition.

Muhammad succumbed to his injuries during treatment at Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) in the metropolis.

Another security guard, identified as Salman Rafique, was shifted to a ventilator.

Slain’s mournful brother Rahib Ali expressed sadness on the incident and said Noor Muhammad was recently blessed with a son.

"He had come to the home during Ramadan and spent Eid with family members at their request.," Ali added.

According to the police, Noor was a resident of Sanghar and was residing in Karachi due to his job.
