KP Minister Shakeel Khan booked under terrorism charges

A case has been registered against Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister Shakeel Khan at the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) police station in Bajaur Region, Malakand, following an alleged firing incident on security personnel.

According to the First Information Report (FIR), the case was registered on the complaint of an affected official and includes charges under terrorism-related provisions along with other sections of law.

The complainant alleged that MPA Shakeel Khan, accompanied by several other individuals, opened fire on personnel during the incident.

According to the FIR, the complainant sustained a gunshot wound to the back, while other accompanying personnel remained unharmed.

The complainant further alleged that the suspects fled the scene in a vehicle after the firing.

The case has been registered at the CTD police station in Bajaur Region, Malakand, and further legal proceedings will determine the circumstances surrounding the incident and the allegations levelled against the accused.

The allegations contained in the FIR are subject to investigation, and registration of a case does not by itself establish guilt.
