Imran Khan, Bushra Bibi meet in Adiala jail for 45 minutes

Incarcerated former prime minister and Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi had a meeting in Adiala Jail, media reports said on Wednesday, citing jail sources.

The reports said that the meeting took place in the jail’s conference room and lasted around 45 minutes. The meeting was allowed in line with jail rules and procedures.

Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi had also met last week, with that meeting lasting for the same duration, the reports said.

Earlier, on Tuesday, Bushra Bibi’s lawyer, Salman Kharral, was seen heading towards Adiala Jail with blankets, warm clothing, dried fruits and dates on the scheduled day for the meeting.

However, the meeting could not take place that day, according to the reports.
