'Why were videos uploaded?' Judge asks Ducky Bhai as YouTube channel remains in NCCIA custody

YouTuber Saad ur Rehman, popularly known as Ducky Bhai, appeared in a Lahore court for the hearing of an application seeking return of his electronic devices and ATM cards.

The hearing took place at the Lahore District Court in connection with a case pertaining to the promotion of gambling apps. The court took up Ducky Bhai’s application regarding the custody of his electronic devices and other items seized during probe.

The court said that the NCCIA had no objections to the custody of 19 items. However, the investigating officer informed the court that three of Ducky Bhai’s mobile phones and a laptop were undergoing forensic examination, and access to his YouTube channel could not be provided.

The court added that the YouTube channel was no longer under his control as it had been blocked.

Assistant Director of FIA told the court that Ducky Bhai had uploaded three videos to the channel. In response, the YouTuber explained that he had not earned any money from the videos he uploaded.

The court remarked that the main question was why he uploaded the videos if the channel was no longer under his ownership.

The hearing on the petition was adjourned until December 22, 2025.

Following his release on bail in the gambling app promotion case, Ducky Bhai had resumed uploading vlogs to YouTube. His first vlog after returning reportedly received over 15 million views, sparking speculation on social media that he may have earned substantial revenue from a single video to offset previous losses.
