Singer and composer Waqar Ali diagnosed with Stage IV lung cancer

Pakistani singer and music composer Waqar Ali has revealed that he has been diagnosed with Stage IV lung cancer and has asked fans and well-wishers to pray for his recovery.

Ali shared the news in a post on his official Instagram account, along with a photograph of himself in a hospital bed receiving medical care.

In the accompanying caption, he said the diagnosis had been a difficult time for him and his family, adding that he was taking things one day at a time with faith, courage and hope.

“It is never easy to share news like this, but I feel it is important to speak to all of you who have been a part of my journey and have supported me with so much love over the years,” he wrote.
