A sessions court in Lahore on Tuesday extended the interim pre-arrest bail of YouTuber Rajab Butt and TikToker Nadeem Mubarak, popularly known as Nani Wala, in a case related to the promotion of online gambling platforms.

The two appeared before the court under heavy police security, accompanied by their legal counsel. Additional District and Sessions Judge Mansoor Ahmed heard their bail pleas.

During the proceedings, a lawyer representing the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency informed the court that the investigating officer was busy before the Lahore High Court and was unable to appear. The bench was requested to grant additional time to submit the relevant case record.

Accepting the request, the court extended the interim bail of both accused until January 26 and instructed the NCCIA to produce the record at the next hearing. The judge allowed Butt and Mubarak to leave after their attendance was recorded.

Rajab Butt was booked by the NCCIA in September 2025 over allegations that he promoted gambling applications through videos on YouTube and TikTok, as well as through Instagram stories posted for short durations.

Nadeem Mubarak was also named in a similar case related to the promotion of gambling apps.
