'I make them wait for change': Nida Yasir faces backlash over remarks about delivery riders

Renowned TV host Nida Yasir, who has been a sensational figure in the industry for over a decade and is famous for her morning show, has once again sparked controversy with her recent remarks about delivery riders.

She said that delivery riders often fail to return change and sometimes try to earn a few extra rupees through this practice.

She added, “I always ask my driver to bring the change. When they have to stand waiting, their next orders are delayed, and next time they will be more careful.”

Another guest on the show agreed with her viewpoint.

The comments sparked significant backlash on social media. One user wrote, “In reality, they are poor people.” Another Instagram user commented, “For the amount of money you earn, 100 or 200 rupees is not a big deal for you.”

At the same time, some users expressed support for delivery riders, noting, “They are among the hardest working people and deserve to be rewarded fairly.”
