Dania Shah’s husband apologises over ‘vulgar dance party’ after arrest by Punjab CCD

TikToker Dania Shah’s husband Hakeem Shahzad alias Loha Paar,, was arrested by the Crime Control Department (CCD) Punjab over viral TikTok videos showing him hosting a ‘vulgar dance party.’ Following his detention, Hakeem issued an apology and urged the public to uphold decency.

In a video released by the CCD, Hakeem Loha Paar admitted to sharing content with inappropriate language on social media and hosting a ‘mujra’ during a period when the country was grappling with devastating floods.

“I deeply regret my actions and sincerely apologise for them. I have also decided to donate the money earned from the dance party to flood victims,” he said.

The social media personality, who often brands himself as a pir or spiritual leader, assured that he would not repeat such actions in the future. He also requested people to use respectful language and refrain from promoting vulgarity online.

The Punjab government, as part of its police reforms, established the Crime Control Department (CCD) in April 2025. The department’s objectives align with those of the police, to prevent crimes and protect lives and property. 

Since its inception, the CCD has actively worked to curb crimes related to harassment and inappropriate online activities.

The Punjab government announced plans to establish CCD police stations in every district. 

These stations aim to tackle crimes including theft, robbery, kidnapping, murder, blackmail, and land grabbing. The CCD is equipped with modern technology, including AI and drones, allowing criminals to be identified and apprehended through a digital crime data system.
