NCCIA given time to submit report on Ducky Bhai's plea

A Lahore court has ordered the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) to submit its report by December 15 on an application of YouTuber Saadur Rehman, alias Ducky Bhai, seeking the return of his seized ATM cards and electronic devices, including a mobile phone.

Judicial Magistrate Naeem Wattoo issued the directive while hearing the plea.

During the proceedings, the NCCIA’s lawyer informed the court that the investigating officer was in Islamabad and has not yet recieved the case file from former IO Shoaib Riaz.

The court then questioned Ducky Bhai’s counsel on how his client has been accessing YouTube after his release on bail. The lawyer responded that the main account was with NCCIA and the account in question was merely an editor’s access.

The defence counsel argued that the plea concerns the return of electronic devices, a mobile phone, and four credit cards, which he said should be handed back to his client.

The NCCIA once again sought more time to file its report. Accepting its request, the magistrate adjourned the hearing until December 15.
