Renowned martial arts icon and actor Jackie Chan shared an emotional reaction to a video from Gaza.

He described how the words of a young child moved him to tears and highlighted the ongoing bombardment and suffering of children in Gaza

"I watched a video recently. I started crying as soon as that little kid started speaking," the actor is heard saying, as translated by Anadolu Agency.

"They asked him, 'What do you want to be when you grew up?' He said, 'Children don't grow up here [Gaza].'"

Jackie Chan said that he started crying on hearing this. "You see it, Gaza's children are bombed everyday," he added.

About the child, the actor said, "he had no expressions when he said that." He said that growing old is a blessing, congratulating everyone who has had the chance to grow old.
