Gold prices fall sharply for second day in Pakistan

Gold prices continued their downward trend in Pakistan on Thursday, following losses in the international market.
According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold fell by Rs9,720 per tola, bringing the rate down to Rs432,716.
The price of 10 grams of gold also declined by Rs8,748 to Rs369,422.
A day earlier, gold had dropped by Rs12,627 per tola, settling at Rs442,436.
In the international market, gold prices fell by $97 per ounce to $4,102, including a premium of $20.
Silver prices also moved lower. The price of silver decreased by Rs40 per tola and closed at Rs6,889.
