Gold price jumps Rs4,000 per tola in Pakistan

Gold prices recorded an increase in the local market on Monday, following gains in the international market, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

The price of gold increased by Rs4,000 per tola, taking it to Rs431,736. The price of 10 grams of gold also rose by Rs3,430 to Rs370,144.

On Saturday, gold prices had increased by Rs300 per tola, closing at Rs427,736.

In the international market, gold gained $40 to reach $4,093 per ounce, including a premium of $20.

Meanwhile, silver prices rose by Rs100 per tola to a record high of Rs6,397.
