Video of a farmer injecting watermelons with red colour emerges

A shocking video has surfaced on social media showing a farmer injecting watermelons with a red substance using syringes.

The video was shared a X, formerly Twitter, user on his microblogging account.

"I got to know about this today that watermelons also get sick," the user took a dig at the video.

In the viral video, a man sitting in a field could be seen injecting the watermelons with a red dye. 

While two other persons could also be heard instructing the farmer in the video.

However, the location of the incident is yet to be confirmed.

But, the video has raised concerns about food safety and the use of artificial coloring in fruits.
