34-year-old Abby Hensel, who garnered fame with her conjoined twin Brittany Hensel from the TLC show,  has tied the know with a retired army officer.

As per the details, the American teacher got married to Josh Bowling in 2021.

The duo are some of the rare dicephalous twins in history to survive infancy. They gained fame in 1996 when they appeared on a television show and on the cover of Life Magazine in the US.

Both Abby and Brittany desired to have families of their own, but they refused to discuss how it would work.

The twins were raised by Christian parents, and have separate birth certificates and passports. Their parents did not consider separating them through the medical procedure because of the risk to their lives.

Abby and Brittany are fifth-grade math teachers at the elementary school in New Brighton. Although they have two teaching licenses, they are paid one salary because they do the job of one person.

The sisters enjoy working together, with one teaching while the other monitors the class and answers questions.

At the time of the twin's birth, doctors warned their parents that they were unlikely to survive the night, but the prediction did not come true.
