LAHORE: Popular Pakistani YouTuber Saad ur Rehman, better known as Ducky Bhai, has publicly apologized for his past actions following his arrest by the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) in connection with a controversial app promotion case.

Speaking to the media during a court appearance, Ducky Bhai admitted that he had previously made immoral videos and expressed regret, saying he sought forgiveness from the nation.

He also acknowledged promoting certain applications without verifying their legal status in Pakistan, for which he apologized as well.

The FIA arrested the YouTuber in Lahore on charges of promoting a gambling-related app that allegedly caused financial losses to citizens.

Following his arrest, he was sent on remand and produced in court again on Thursday.

Fellow YouTuber Rajab Butt voiced support for Ducky Bhai, calling it a “difficult time” for his family.

He added that the YouTuber should have been released after the initial appearance, but the way the case was presented may have prolonged the process.
