Pakistani mountaineer Asad Ali Memon has successfully completed the world-renowned Seven Summits challenge after scaling Oceania’s highest peak, marking a significant milestone for Pakistan’s mountaineering community.

Memon achieved the feat after seven years of expeditions across all seven continents, becoming one of the few climbers globally to conquer the tallest mountain on each continent. His accomplishment adds to Pakistan’s mountaineering legacy and highlights the country’s growing presence in international adventure sports.

In a video message from the summit of Oceania’s highest mountain, Memon said, “I am standing on the highest peak of the seventh continent. The mission that began seven years ago has finally been completed. I have raised my flag and I proudly say, Pakistan Zindabad — long live Pakistan!”

Expressing gratitude to his supporters, he vowed to continue pursuing new challenges and encouraged greater support for aspiring climbers in Pakistan. “I’ve fulfilled my dream, and I request everyone to keep supporting future Pakistani climbers the same way you supported me,” he added.

The Seven Summits challenge involves scaling the highest mountains on each of the seven continents — including Everest in Asia, Aconcagua in South America, Denali in North America, Kilimanjaro in Africa, Elbrus in Europe, Vinson in Antarctica, and Puncak Jaya in Oceania — all of which Memon has now successfully climbed.
