Abrar Ahmed dethrones Rashid Khan to claim No. 1 T20I bowling spot

Pakistan spinner Abrar Ahmed has taken the top spot in the latest ICC T20I bowling rankings, dethroning Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan.

Abrar now has 736 rating points, while Rashid has slipped to second. Australia’s Adam Zampa also moved up a place and is now ranked third.

Pakistan now has several bowlers inside the top 100. Mohammad Nawaz is ranked eighth with 658 points, while Salman Mirza occupies 18th place with 636.

Shaheen Afridi is 33rd on 602 points. Further down the list, Usman Tariq has moved to 57th with 524 points and Sufiyan Muqeem to 63rd with 510. Saim Ayub is 71st with 492 points and Shadab Khan remains at 77th with 485. Haris Rauf has climbed two places to 86th, collecting 448 points.

The latest rankings also feature movement among Pakistan’s T20I batters.

Sahibzada Farhan continues to hold third place with 848 points, behind India’s Ishan Kishan and Abhishek Sharma.

Saim Ayub has risen two positions to 39th with 560 points. Babar Azam has made the same two-place improvement and is now 41st with 555.

Pakistan’s T20I captain Salman Ali Agha remains 45th with 547 points, while Fakhar Zaman is unchanged at 72nd with 481.
