Woman attacked with acid by motorcyclist while heading to office with husband in Karachi

KARACHI: A woman travelling to her office with her husband was attacked with acid by a motorcyclist in Karachi’s Liaquatabad area.

According to police, the incident took place in Liaquatabad when the woman was on her way to work with her husband.

A motorcyclist allegedly approached them and threw acid at her before fleeing.

Police said the woman works at an office on Shahrah-e-Faisal.

Her husband was taking her to work in the morning when the incident occurred.

According to police, a case has been registered against the unidentified motorcyclist on the woman’s complaint. Authorities are also obtaining CCTV footage from cameras installed in the area to help identify the suspect.
