In a harrowing incident, two girls from Rohri Town of Sukkur testified in a local court on sexual abuse and physical torture allegedly inflicted upon them by their father and uncles.

The girls, identified as Asma and Hajra, resided with their father after their parents' divorce, while their mother moved to Karachi with their two sisters.

The suspect father filed a First Information Report (FIR) accusing the girls' maternal uncle of kidnapping.

According to reports, the girls suffered five years of sexual abuse at the hands of their father and uncles before finally managing to escape and reunite with their mother in Karachi.

During the court proceedings, the girls, visibly distressed and overwhelmed by their ordeal, pleaded with the judiciary for protection and the dismissal of fabricated charges against their maternal uncle.

Advocate Ghulam Mustafa, representing the girls, refuted the father's kidnapping claims, asserting that the victims had fled on their own will to reach their mother.

One of the sisters disclosed that she had been subjected to sexual abuse and mistreatment by their father and three uncles since the age of 10.

The girls have accused their father, Ghulam Rasool, and uncles Mazhar Hussain, Noor Hussain, and Ghulam Sarwar of the heinous crimes and appealed to the authorities for justice and protection.
