Mir Raza Case: Jibran Nasir says meeting with Ahmed Bhardey proved inconclusive

KARACHI: Lawyer Jibran Nasir told the Judicial Commission hearing the Mir Raza case that Ahmed Bhardey met his family on Saturday for approximately two and a half hours, but the meeting failed to yield any significant information.

According to Nasir, the family asked Ahmed a number of questions during the meeting. However, he said Bhardey did not provide answers to their queries and expressed ignorance about the matters raised.

“Ahmed did not tell us anything, and the meeting proved inconclusive,” Nasir said.

The mother of Mir Raza also told the commission that Ahmed expressed a lack of knowledge when questioned by the family during the meeting.

During the proceedings, the commission observed that many people make statements, but provide little information when given an opportunity to explain their claims.

The commission further remarked that efforts appeared to be under way to make the commission controversial.
