In a shocking incident, the members of transgender community attacked a police station and physically assaulted cops in Kharian district of Gujrat.

According to authorities, the incident took place at Saddar area police station of Kharian.

Several videos went viral on social media, in which transgenders could be seen beating up cops, breaking furniture and forcing police personnel to do sit-ups.

As per the details provided by sources, the transgenders attacked the police station after the cops "illegally detained" a member of their community and physically assaulted him.

Following the vandalism, the transgenders blocked the GT road to stage a protest against the police.

However, the law enforcers said that legal action would be taken against the transgenders for ensuing violence and wrecking a police station.
