Swat: 14-year-old student dies after severe beating by madressah teachers

A 14-year-old student, Farhan, lost his life after being brutally tortured by madressah teachers in the Khwazakhela area of Swat, according to the police. 

The incident sparked outrage among the locals, with two of the suspects arrested and a search ongoing for the others involved.

Police shared the details of the incident, stating that Farhan was reportedly subjected to severe physical punishment by his teachers for skipping his classes.

The brutal beating ultimately led to his death. Following the incident, the boy was taken to Khwazakhela Hospital, where doctors confirmed his death and conducted a postmortem examination.

An eyewitness told the media that Farhan was repeatedly beaten with rods until they broke, and he was then locked in a room.

Police arrested two madrasa teachers from the hospital premises and launched an investigation into the matter. A case has been registered against three individuals, Muhammad Omar, his son Ehsanullah, and a third suspect named Abdullah.

Authorities confirmed that Abdullah has been taken into custody, while efforts are underway to apprehend the remaining two suspects.
