Sialkot man caught on camera harassing woman shot in private parts: police

A man caught on camera harassing a woman in Sialkot was injured after accidentally shooting himself in his private parts during a police raid.

According to the Counter Crime Department (CCD), the suspect, identified as Muhammad Irfan, was wanted for allegedly engaging in an inappropriate conduct towards a woman as she entered her house.

The CCD conducted a raid to arrest the suspect after a video of his immoral act went viral.

The police said that when a team raided to arrest him, the suspect pulled out a pistol with the intention of firing at officers. In a state of panic, however, the weapon went off and the bullet struck him in his private parts, leaving him seriously injured.

The officials confirmed that the suspect’s injury has caused permanent damage. He was shifted to a hospital for medical treatment, while further legal proceedings are under way.

Earlier, a man, who allegedly molested a minor girl, was shot in his private parts in an alleged encounter with police in Kasur.

According to the police, a video circulating on social media showed the man molesting a 10-year-old girl in Zaheerabad Colony in Chunian. CCTV footage purportedly captured him harassing the child as she played in the street. The girl’s father filed a complaint, and an FIR was registered against the suspect.

The police claimed that as they conducted a raid to apprehend the suspect, he tried to attack the personnel with his pistol that went off. Consquently, his private parts were critically injured. He was shifted to a hospital in an injured condition.
