Incidents of street crime in Karachi continue to surge, with a brazen daylight robbery in Rizvia police limits leaving residents shaken.

According to details, four armed men riding in an Alto car and a motorcycle staged an open robbery on Tuesday morning, targeting citizen for nearly 15 minutes without interruption.

CCTV footage shows the suspects stopping two young men on a motorcycle. While the passenger managed to flee, the robbers snatched the mobile phone, cash, and motorcycle from the rider, Ali Hussain.

In a shocking act, the culprits also assaulted him and forced him into the humiliating “murgha” position — footage of which has since gone viral on social media.
