Rajab Butt’s wife Emaan sends open invitation to husband to attend son’s birthday

Emaan, the wife of social media personality Rajab Butt, issued a detailed message about her son Kivan Sultan’s birthday, saying the child’s father should be able to meet and spend time with him despite ongoing family tensions.

In a message shared on her Instagram Story, she invited Kivan’s father, whom she addressed as “Baba,” along with other family members, to attend the child’s birthday and be part of the celebrations.

Emaan said that she had never stopped a father from meeting his son, adding that children need the love and care of both parents.

She questioned whether a child’s life should be affected by disputes that reach the courtroom.

The message also raised questions about the father’s involvement in Kivan’s life. She asked whether he had contacted the family to inquire about his son’s well-being, fulfilled his responsibilities, spent time with the child, or provided financial support.

According to her message, she believes that a birthday celebration cannot compensate for an entire year of silence or lack of contact. She also questioned why family members had allegedly not asked about the child’s wellbeing.

She further stated that she had not prevented Kivan from meeting his father and claimed that her home had remained open to him.

Referring to an earlier Eid occasion, she said she had welcomed him and his companions into the house despite receiving notice only eight days earlier, but alleged that he instead chose to pursue a court-related route.

The mother said her priority was Kivan’s peace, wellbeing and future, and that she did not want his first birthday to be associated with what she described as the trauma of a court visit.

Emaan added that the family should create happy memories for Kivan rather than turn their differences into a matter for social media.
