A disturbing video purportedly showing the brutal killing of a man and a woman over freewill marriage in Balochistan has gone viral on social media, triggering widespread outrage and condemnation.
Taking serious notice of the incident, Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti has ordered law enforcement agencies to immediately identify the location and arrest all those involved.
According to Balochistan government spokesperson Shahid Rind, the chief minister has stressed that such barbaric acts are not only unacceptable but also a grave affront to human dignity and societal values.
“The rule of law will not be compromised. Those who challenge the writ of the state will be dealt with firmly. No one will be allowed to take the law into their own hands,” said the CM in a statement issued by the CM Secretariat.
Rind condemned the act as “reprehensible on every level,” assuring the public that the provincial government would not remain a silent spectator. He said all legal avenues would be pursued to ensure the perpetrators face the full weight of the law.
The government has also appealed to the public to assist authorities in identifying the suspects shown in the video. Citizens have been urged to come forward with any information that could lead to their arrest.
Social media platforms have been flooded with posts claiming that the couple was shot dead for marrying out of their own freewill.

She walked bravely to her death in the bunch of cowards…
Her only sin was to have Nikah of her own choice!
