LPG prices remain high in several cities across Pakistan, ranging between Rs600 and Rs650 per kilogram.

In Lahore, LPG shops remained closed for a second consecutive day due to a strike by shopkeepers. In Quetta, prices fell by Rs30 to Rs520 per kilogram.

LPG is being sold at Rs570 per kilogram in Peshawar, Rs600 in Attock, and Rs600 in Rawalpindi and Islamabad. In Karachi, the price has reached Rs550 per kilogram.

Meanwhile, chicken prices have also increased, with chicken meat selling at Rs740 per kilogram in Karachi, Rs640 in Lahore, and Rs650 in Quetta.

However, hopes of a reduction in LPG prices have risen after two ships carrying LPG from Oman arrived in Pakistan, potentially improving local supplies.
