Karachi: Robbers take away valuables from SSP Irfan Samo’s DHA house

An armed robbery was reported at the residence of SSP Irfan Samo in Karachi’s Defence Housing Authority on Monday.

According to police officials, the robbery took place between 11pm and midnight within the jurisdiction of Sahil police station in Defence, Phase VIII’s Al-Murtaza Commercial area.

The officials said that four armed suspects entered the house and held the occupants hostage at gunpoint before escaping with valuables and cash.

They adde that SSP Irfan Samo was not present at the bungalow at the time of the incident, as he is currently serving as DPO in Rahim Yar Khan.

The police said that important evidence related to the suspects has been collected and efforts are underway to arrest those involved.

Speaking after the incident, Irfan Samo said that his brother's family and nephew live at the house where the robbery occurred.
