Govt increases petrol price by Rs5.58, HSD by Rs4.18 per litre

The price of petrol had been revised to Rs 364.35 per liter, while that of HSD would stand at Rs 385.95 per liter from September 9.

The federal government on Tuesday increased the price of petrol and high-speed diesel (HSD) by Rs5.58 and Rs4.18 per litre, respectively, for September 9.

As stated in a notification released by the Petroleum Division, the price of petrol had been revised to Rs 364.35 per liter, while that of HSD would stand at Rs 385.95 per liter from September 9.

The current revisions follow the previous day’s hike in the price of petrol and HSD by Rs 12.9 and Rs 3.72 per liter, respectively, for September 8.
