A 14-year-old boy was injured after being hit by a stray bullet fired by a social media influencer while making a TikTok video in Lahore.

The incident took place at Lahore's Akbari Gate.

As per details, a 14-year-old boy who was shot in the neck by a TikToker who was doing aerial firing in Lahore's Akbari Gate while filming the video. 

The police have arrested the accused and recovered the weapon from him, while the Akbari Gate police have registered a case of attempted murder against the accused, and have started the investigation.

The condition of the injured boy is said to be critical.

In another such incident on July 25, a boy in Bahawalpur lost his life while making a video for the highly popular video-sharing social networking platform TikTok.

According to details, a youth drowned in the Sadiqa canal while filming a video for TikTok in Mandi Sadiq Ganj in Minchinabad, Bahawalpur district of Punjab.

The deceased, identified as Muhammad Sufiyan, went to the canal along with his friends to record a video. He fell into the canal as his foot slipped while recording a video.
