Attempted murder suspect flees after bail rejection at Sindh High Court

Suspect in attempted murder case fled the Sindh High Court after bail rejection. 

As per details, the Sindh High Court heard the bail application of Badshah in the attempted murder case registered in Malir’s Memon Goth. The court rejected the suspect’s bail plea.

After his bail was rejected, the suspect attempted to flee from the court premises. Investigation Officer Shoaib Baloch took him into custody inside the court premises.

However, a physical altercation reportedly broke out between the suspect’s family members and his lawyer and the police officer.

Taking advantage of the intervention by his family and lawyer, the suspect managed to escape from police custody.

An attempted murder case had been registered against the suspect at Memon Goth Police Station. A separate case has also been registered over his escape from police custody, and legal proceedings have been initiated.

According to the FIR, several individuals attempted to help the suspect escape. Following the court’s order, the suspect was brought outside after being taken into custody.

The court had rejected his bail application and ordered his arrest. During the resistance, a lawyer, Akbar Chughtai, also arrived at the scene.

According to the FIR, the accused allegedly freed the arrested suspect from police custody and interfered with the performance of official duties.
