Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Attaullah Tarar, met with Azhar Memon, a well-qualified yet unemployed youth from Sindh, on Wednesday and pledged to support him in securing a job.

Azhar, originally from Khairpur, holds an MBA from the Institute of Business Administration Karachi. He recently came into the spotlight after a video detailing his struggles went viral across social media platforms.

Sharing footage of their meeting on X, the minister made a symbolic gesture by inviting Azhar to sit in his chair as a mark of respect.

The moment became emotional, with Azhar visibly moved as he expressed his gratitude and described the meeting as a deeply significant experience.

In his statement, Tarar said that meeting Azhar—a talented and educated young man—was personally touching. He noted that Azhar’s viral video, in which he candidly spoke about his hardships, had resonated widely with the public.

The minister added that he had invited Azhar to Islamabad, offered him encouragement, and assured him that efforts would be made to help him find suitable employment.

Azhar shared that he completed his MBA in 2003 from IBA Karachi, one of the country’s leading institutions.

Despite his qualifications, he has endured considerable challenges over the years and has taken on modest jobs to make ends meet.
