PTI MNA deletes 'fake' image of PM Shehbaz's meeting with Netanyahu

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) MNA Shandana Gulzar Khan on Wednesday deleted a social media post that included a photo she said showed a meeting between Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, after the post attracted widespread backlash.

Sharing what appeared to be a fake image of the alleged meeting, the lawmaker wrote: “Article 6 ! Treason ! Pakistan does not recognise Israel let alone a genocidal murderer like Netanyahu or does khoon league have a separate country.”

She deleted the post after backlash but in another post later said: "I have deleted my tweet on Shehbaz sharifs meeting with Netanyahu as the picture is not 100% clear."

"What is 200% clear and proof is available with “concerned” people, a meeting was arranged between Shehbaz sharif and Netanyahu," she claimed.

Reacting to the PTI MNA's post earlier, Federal Information Minister Attaullah Tarar said, “Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif with President of Azerbaijan and Prime Minister of Armenia day before yesterday in Egypt. Some local political elements are trying to distort the video of this meeting and giving a totally false story.”
