The application process for the government’s Hajj scheme 2026 has officially concluded, with 118,060 pilgrims applying from across Pakistan.

Authorities closed the application window after an overwhelming response, filling the quota in just 17 days—much sooner than in previous years.

According to sources within the Ministry of Religious Affairs, applications were accepted on a first-come, first-served basis, available both online and through designated banks. Due to the high volume of applicants, the quota was reached faster than anticipated.

Applicants had the option to choose between long and short-duration Hajj packages.

The Ministry confirmed that half of the total Hajj expenses were collected as the first installment, with the remaining balance due in the second installment.

The Ministry of Religious Affairs will now begin processing the applications and issuing further instructions to the selected pilgrims.

With the process closing earlier than expected, preparations for Hajj 2026 are set to proceed on an accelerated timeline.
